It is aimed at patients who are required to be bed ridden for a long time and offers protection against skin ulcers caused by permanent bed rest.
The construction material is a flexible PVC sheet with a special soft surface coating. It has a honeycomb pattern and is delivered complete with the special air compressor as seen in the photo above.
The air compressor is absolutely silent. It works either placed on the floor or suspended from the bed (it has a special suspension hook). It has a pressure adjustment according to the patient's weight or even his personal preference.
